Dear readers and visitors,

I am sorry to inform you that I have decided to close Airline Industry Blog, on which I worked for more than a year.

I will soon begin attending a business school here in Croatia, which will mean moving to a new town and living on my own. This is something that I am really looking forward to as I firmly believe that I will gain a lot of experience and knowledge, all of which will be very useful in the future.

But I also fear that I might no longer have time for updating the blog. It took hours to make almost every one of the 155 articles you see, and although the time was well spent, I will have to give priority to other things. I am also starting a venture which should, unlike Airline Industry Blog, yield profits and be less time-consuming (at least I will be more flexible). But don't get me wrong, the blog was never intended to be for-profit, and the benefits I had from blogging are truly invaluable.

I also blame high fuel prices and sluggish European economy. :)

Of course, the blog closure does not, in absolutely no way, mean distancing myself from the airline industry. In fact, the decision I made about attending a business school (and in a new town) is all about my future goals. And besides, writing for the blog was only a fraction of time I devoted (and will continue devoting) to the industry. The new venture I am starting is also connected to the industry, and if it fails, I will start something new.

I wish my readers the best of luck and sincerely hope that the closure of Airline Industry Blog will not cause them any inconvenience.

Best regards,
Ivo Pezelj
